Sue Matthews Sabiston, a resident artist of Oswego, N.Y. since 1968, currently works primarily
in watercolor, pencil, and ink. Recent projects include a series of Illustrations for "The Bluff," a ghost story
by Joseph Gunther. She hails from Bayshore, L.I. where she studied fine art and interior design under Alexander Cestra and
Carl Harbart, working in various media also including oil, acrylic, tempera, and ceramic. Preferring to create from dreams
and fantasies her goal is to give the viewer an emotional experience that draws them into the painting. High contrast typifies
her art work and her life.
